Philosophy of Sakura honey
Honey that is collected and carried by honeybees is closely associated with the lives of human beings. It is our belief that the precious honey we deliver to our consumers will be of assistance in the promotion of “beauty” and “good health” ? the elements that create a happy family. In the world of nature, meanwhile, honeybees assume the role of “pollination” and the truly important work of breeding in the plant ecosystem. If there were no honeybees, we cannot even begin to imagine the abundant production of pastures, sunflowers, apples or even strawberries that we have today. How can “humans” lead a life of abundance by living in harmony with nature? We are confident that our mission of continuing to deliver honey as a bridge between beekeepers and consumers will lead to the creation of a rich natural environment.
Message from the President
As shown in a honey-gathering painting that was drawn about 10,000 years ago on a rock in the Cave of Altamira in eastern Spain, honey has been a companion to “humans” since the ancient times. Even through advances in beekeeping technology enabled humans to achieve plentiful and stable honey production, the motto we at Sakura bear in mind is “As natural as possible, just the way it is” ? a teaching from our predecessors that we have adhered to since our establishment. People naturally smile when they taste something good, don’t they? We at Sakura Honey Group are constantly working to fill the world with smiles, to bring a smile of “mmm, yum!” to our precious partners ? to you.
